BRMR’s position within the Marcellus includes West Virginia and Ohio leaseholds, with 34 currently producing operated wells and expansion plans well into the future. The utilization of updated planning and engineering principles will allow the company to substantially reduce cycle times and costs, effectively develop key acreage, and realize strong production results. The first Marcellus well was brought to sales by BRMR in December 2010.
Blue Ridge Mountain Resources has 105,000 net acres in the liquids rich Marcellus Shale, with 97,000 acres undeveloped.
BRMR is strategically placed within some of the best rock in the play and the Utica is a significant growth area for the company. Acreage is positioned across both the dry and wet areas of the play, allowing for flexibility around development planning.
Safety is a priority at Blue Ridge Mountain Resources, and employees are instructed to report any potentially unsafe practices or conditions for the benefit of the team, as well as the communities we operate within. We continually strive to be a good neighbor through our operational practices and treat even the slightest concerns with the utmost importance.
From the wellhead, gas production is moved through Eureka Midstream followed by a processing facility to extract the valuable liquids for wet gas, and finally through one of our firm transport pipelines, which have the ability to capitalize on some of the best hub pricing in the region.
We are actively engaged in maximizing the value and productivity of all areas within the organization, and have already begun to reap the benefits of the vast experience of our leadership team.
